Post Grad Chronicles 3: The High Road

Welcome back to another post grad blog post. This is the last video in the post grad chronicles vlog series. Don’t be sad OneSelfers, I will have “updates” when they do come. Let’s get into this blog/vlog.
What Is The High Road?
There are many roads in life that we can take. Sometimes the road or plans that we had for our lives didn’t work out the way that we wanted for ourselves. Just don’t beat yourself up over it. Sometimes there may be a path in life were we have to decide which road to take and you may not be ready to do so. I know that I’m not. And sometimes that means finding a job right after college.
How To Face The Road Blocks:
For me personally I haven’t had any success in my job search for a career job. I still work two jobs and still haven’t had one call back yet. Over 150 jobs later, and I’m still making rivers on the floor, my shirt and in people offices wondering if it was my fault. Honestly it’s okay to cry, and letting those emotions out.
How The High Road Is Not Failure:
You are not quitting, you are just checking in with yourself. For me, I had to step back from applying for jobs because it was an emotionally and spiritual toll. It wasn’t healthy for me and it crush me and I’m feel so depress because NOBODY hasn’t called me for a job interview. Not only that, this post grad experience taught me that you are not giving up, you are just looking at other path to get to the end result. Keep grinding and don’t throw in the towel OneSelfers.
This Is Not The End:
Thank you for following me on this post grad journey with me OneSelfers. I know that you are not alone in this jungle of post grad students looking for a job. Just keep looking at other paths. I’m currently looking at graduate school for spring 2018. I hope and pray that I get accepted. Like I said, I’m not throwing in the towel, I’m just taking a different path to get to where I want to be. I will still be posting “updates” for the aftermath of the chronicles. Stay tune for those post.
