Goodbye Chapter 27, Hello Chapter 28

Hello my beautiful OneSelfers! I can’t believe that I turned 28 yesterday. I have so much to tell you (if you haven’t checked out my IG account). No, I didn’t meet the love of my life and got engaged (this is not The Bachelor). Let me give you the short version of my fabulous day that I had. The down side was that I had to work on my birthday. But hey my boss got me a birthday cake so I was happy.

Well I did sleep in so I can have a beautiful night rest. My phone had been blowing up nonstop. I would say that after I woke up I did do a five minute pray. The prayer was very personal just thanking God for blessing me to see Chapter 28- year 28, not a lot of people can be able to say that. I also went a little deeper because it was another year that my parents weren’t here physically to share another year with me. They say each year it gets a little easy, nto in my case per say. It’s the fact when you suppress those thoughts until it really hits you. This was more of, this is who I really want to celebrate my birthday with.

After getting myself together, I told myself that I was going to The Cheesecake Factory for a little late lunch before work. I got the Louisiana chicken pasta and a passion fruit margarita (which was not blended (very heart breaking but the other margaritas were…mmm). Then for dessert I got their new cheesecake called Celebration cake which just came out two weeks ago. This cake was huge. Like two people can eat it. It was layered with confetti cake, frosting, cheesecake, and more frosting! Until I got to the end, when I felt the too sweet vibe. I do recommend you guys try it. I don’t know if The Cheesecake Factory had any free birthday stuff cause I didn’t get any. Step it up man.

After lunch, I hit the mall and got me some make up from Sephora because I ran out. I try not to wear makeup a lot but my makeup compact lasts me about a good four to six months. I also went into Forever 21 to try on some stuff. I brought this white dress. With the right stupor underneath I will be rocking this, when I ever get a day off. When I got to work my manger did buy me a birthday cake. It’s just not any cake…it’s a cupcake cake. That was really nice of her. Even after work I went to store to get me a bottle of Merlot.

Like I have mention before I did receive a lot of messages from phone calls, text, Facebook, Instagram, and videos to wish me a happy birthday. I also cried at Cheese Cake Factory and at work. I wear my hear on my sleeves. I even posted a video on my person page (which I will share on the FB page) thanking everybody for wishing me a happy birthday. OneSelfers, thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to wish me a happy birthday. Let’s see what Chapter 28 will bring me. I prayed for victory in the chapter and take what I have learned in Chapter 27 and just go all in. Cheers for Chapter 28! Until next time OneSelfers!
