Motel 6 Got An Upgrade

I don’t know how to say this OneSelfers but Motel 6 has so step there game up!

Over a short weekend, I did an overnight weekend at a Motel 6. I did so because I was attending a friend’s baby shower in Salinas. I haven’t stayed in a Motel 6 since I was in high school when we went on a family trip to San Diego in 2006. That’s a 11 year different. Anyways, there rooms had major upgrades. I’m not sure if all the rooms nationwide are like mines, but it was great. I booked my hotel through booking.com. The room itself was amazing. Let’s get into the pictures shall we….

So the room looks like a modern college dorm room. It looked like it was from the early 2000 mixed with a 2017 vibe. The only thing it was missing was a refrigerator. The receptionist said that the only a few of the rooms only had the refrigerators. That was only the downside to the room, because there was room to put a mini refrigerator. Also parking was as well. They need better parking lot because there wasn’t any parking in the main lot, but had this parking where trucks will park at. I had to park there.

The room cost was a total of $122.18 for a one night stay. I was by the 101 freeway and right next to a Denny’s if you are traveling. Would I recommend a night in a Motel 6? I would if you are doing be in the area. There are things to do in Salinas as well as a 15 minute drive from Monterey. Until next time OneSelfers.
